2018 Overview

Aries Horoscope The reality is that the New Year often brings a lot of hype that the year itself doesn’t deliver on. The holiday period is over, we get into the year proper and we find that once the glitter wears off we have the same old same old. That is not the case this year, with 2018 not only very different to 2017 in almost every conceivable way but instead of over promising and under delivering, it will under promise and over deliver. There are clues from the get go that this year will be very different, mainly because Jupiter and Saturn, the planets that are the engine driving any year, both changed signs late last year. This is something that last happened in 2014. With lucky Jupiter still in his early months in your financial sector and Saturn just 11 days into your career sector by the time you move into the New Year, there are definitely clues. What you can’t tell from the get go is just how huge this is set to become. Mars will play an important role on both fronts, but in different ways. Starting the year with both Jupiter and Mars in your financial sector at the same time is advantage enough, with the planets of luck and passion getting things off to the best possible start. The last time that happened was 38 years ago, but back in 1970 they never aligned. This time Jupiter and Mars will spend the first week of 2018 aligned in your financial sector, getting this lucky year for money matters off to an authentic start from the get go. By the time Mars leaves on the 27th January, you’ll have more than enough momentum. This is happening at the same time that the Sun, Mercury and Venus are all supporting Saturn in his early weeks in your career sector, where here the developments are even more game changing. Saturn returns to your career sector every 27 to 28 years and Pluto has been here since 2008, but they have never and will never meet up again here again in your lifetime. Together now for the next three years, this is the foundation year for a major period of professional growth that will not only continue out until 2020 but will simply explode. For it is during 2019/2020 that they will be joined by lucky Jupiter. What is even more stunning is Uranus’ return to your income sector on the 16th May, kicking off a visit that will take until 2026 to run its course. Having spent the last eight years promoting personal growth and a return to your own truth, the planet of surprise, synchronicity and the unexpected turns his focus onto your income situation, in the early months of your biggest professional year ever.

Love

There are two main features to 2018 when it comes to your love life and matters of the heart. One is what ‘is’ happening and the other is what ‘isn’t’ happening. What you leave behind in 2018 are the relationship challenges of the past few years, along with the heavy focus on your relationships. It is not just the 13 months that Jupiter spent in your relationship sector, from September 2016 to October 2017 that put so much focus on your relationships and it wasn’t the reason for the challenges. It was that this came during a period of finding your personal truth that created the tension. Mars, warrior planet of the cosmos only left your relationship sector in the final weeks of 2017, with 2018 having a very different feel from the get go. January 2018 is the first month since July 2016, where there have been no planets on the relationship front. It is not until a Full Moon in your relationship sector on the 1st April that there will be any real input from the relationship gods. Yet having spent nearly 18 months getting to the heart of what you want from your relationships and what they need from you, you start the year at an empowered point. The next time that the focus turns to your relationships will be Venus’ return on the 7th August, when she starts something rather special. Not content to visit once, Venus will leave on 9th September, only to return for a double dip visit from the 1st November to the 3rd December. This will build on all that you have worked towards in 2016 and 2017. Whether single, in a relationship or between relationships at the start of the year, the final five months of 2018 create the potential for something special. In the meantime, while relationship matters take a back seat, what does define 2018 are the stunning conditions in play on the romantic front. You start the year with a romantic wave already in play, with a total lunar eclipse on the 1st February creating the potential for something fateful. With Ceres, queen of nurturing in your romantic sector until the 28th June and Venus, the planet of love returning on the 14th June to take over, there will be a love god on the field right through to early September. With another solar eclipse on the 11th August, the element of fate runs throughout the year. Right through to the North Node’s departure on the 7th November.

Money

This year we have a mix of the expected and the unexpected and fortunately, in both cases, there is nothing but good news. What you can be sure of from the get go though is that this is going to be a BIG year for both income and money matters as a whole. The expected is on the financial front, for while 2018 is destined to be a lucky year for money matters, with the potential for real financial growth, Jupiter has been in your financial sector since October 2017. This has given the planet of luck and expansion time to establish a foothold and with a lot of support in the closing months of 2017, to gain some momentum. You not only begin the year with Jupiter in your financial sector but Mars, warrior planet of the cosmos as well. Having returned in early December, they spent the closing weeks of 2017 together and not due to leave until the 27th January, will spend the early weeks of 2018 together. You not only start the year with luck on your side from the get go but with your financial passions and fighting spirit fuelled. You should start the year with a good sense of what you’re fighting for, while ready to fight for what you want from the get go. Apart from a Full Moon on the 30th April, Jupiter will spend much of the year in the background, before Mercury returns on the 10th October, followed by the Sun and Venus in a push to bring things home. With Jupiter not leaving until the 9th November, this will see a lot of things come together in his final month. It is on the income front that you will experience the unexpected. Even when Venus returns to your income sector on the 31st March, the Sun on the 20th April and Mercury on the 14th Maythere will be nothing to suggest that this is anything other than your annual update. The Sun will always move through your income sector at this time each year, with Venus and Mercury never far away. However, it’s on the 16th May, a day after a New Moon on the 15th May that everything changes. This is the day that what started as an annual update that income matters get at this time each year, turns into something game changing. For this is the day that Uranus returns to your income sector for the first time since 1942 and apart from a short break from the 7th November 2018 to the 6th March 2019, he’s here until 2026. Jupiter might be making this a lucky year for money matters, but Uranus will take you into an eight year period of income growth.

Business

You have always and will always start each year with the Sun in your career sector and this year this turns out to be a huge advantage. For with the solar spotlight on your career and professional situation, matters and options for the first three weeks of this incredible professional year, you’ll have your eyes open from the get go. Yet the Sun’s departure on the 20th January leaves you with a small snapshot of what not only this year is set to deliver, but the next three years. For as far as your professional game is concerned 2018, 2019 and 2020 are a package deal. It was on the 20th December, two days before the Sun’s return last year that everything changed, though in reality, this is something you have been preparing for, for much of the last decade. The 20th December saw Saturn not only return to your career sector for the first time in over a decade but team up with Pluto for the first time here in our lifetime. With Pluto here until 2024 and Saturn until December 2020, this is the start of the three most powerful professional years on record. With Jupiter joining them at the end of next year, 2020 is set to be the pinnacle year. What makes this so game changing is the makeup of Saturn and Pluto, who last came together from 1982 to 1985. Pluto is the planet of change and revolution and Saturn of structure. Pluto brings the will to change and Saturn brings the power to move mountains if you have to. Together for three years that gives you a lot of time to work on things. While this is the start of a three year journey, there will be a lot of support throughout the year. Along with the Sun, who is here until the 20th January, Venus is here until the 18th January and Mercury will move through from the 11th January to the 1st February. Together they are focused on both getting this new professional year up to speed and in getting this powerful new three year period on track and moving in the right direction. This is the point where Saturn and Pluto take over and here for three years, the focus shifts from a sprint to a marathon. However, Mars will change everything when he not only moves through your career sector from the 18th March to the 16th May but returns for a double dip visit from the 13th August to the 11th September. While Pluto and Saturn are here for the long haul, Mars is a planet that likes to make things happen now, so these will be very active months, with the potential for game changing developments. Things are a lot tamer on the job front, though throughout the most active months of the year for work and job matters, this will come with the full support of Mars, Saturn and Pluto on the career front. That period runs from Ceres’ return to your work sector on the 28th June to the Sun’s departure on the 23rd September.

 About Aries

Aries is good at fighting the good fight. Headstrong and impetuous, you rush in where angels dare not tread. Ruled by the planet Mars, you love to get in first anyway, and winning is important. The good Aries never backs down from a challenge. If anyone weaker needs to be protected, or an ideal needs to be defended, you are right there at the head of the column, and will fight to the end to see that Right prevails.

The trouble is that Aries doesn’t always know what is right – bigger, noisier and better armed is not necessarily better. Winning is great, but not at the expense of honor. Make sure the cause is worth your zeal because things get downright ugly when you go to the dark side and start to fight just for the sake of it.

2018 Overview

Taurus Horoscope This is a huge year by any definition, with some major developments in play. However, the most important of all this year’s rock star developments is Uranus’ return to Taurus on the 16th May. Returning during your birthday month, this will kick off for some the most important solar year in a lifetime and for all, a major new personal journey. Apart from Jupiter, who will spend one year out of every 12 years in Taurus and Saturn, who will spend three out of every thirty years here, there has been no planetary activity for longer than that, since Uranus himself left in 1942. Apart from the few months that Uranus will retrograde back into a nostalgic part of your chart from the 7th November to the 6th March 2019, the planet of surprise, synchronicity and the unexpected is here until 2026. Uranus is the planet that brings your personal truth and a chance to express the real you and is something you’ve been preparing for, for eight years. For it was in 2010 that Uranus began winding down a Uranus cycle that began in 1935, with his return to Taurus on the 16th May kicking off a new Uranus cycle. Uranus will return a day after a New Moon in Taurus on the 15th May and will bring a chance to commit to your new solar year, the future and the journey ahead, little knowing that just 24 hours later this will need to be revised. While with Jupiter in your relationship sector until the 9th November this is a massive year for relationships in general, this is unlikely to conflict with this new period of personal growth. Uranus returns to Taurus too late into Jupiter’s 13 month visit to ever move into opposition, though there could be some conflict between the two in September, October and into the early days of November when the faster moving planets return to help bring Jupiter’s year long visit to your relationship sector home. However, as long as you work to maintain a balance between your personal and relationship needs throughout the year, that shouldn’t be a problem. Another major theme this year is learning, travel, adventure and all things associated with the higher mind or moving out of your comfort zone. Anything from higher learning, publishing or travel for more than just being an armchair tourist has some serious support. So much so that you will find it hard to simply go through the motions. Yet there are also plenty of professional options this year, especially in the first six weeks of the year, but also in the period from the 16th May to the 13th August and from the 11th September to the 16th November.

Love

While all the focus is on your relationships this year, what planetary activity you do have on the romantic front is nothing to sneeze at. Unlike on the relationship front, where there isn’t a moment of 2018 where there isn’t at least one relationship god on the field, this year’s romantic focus sits in a band that starts on the 28th June and runs through to the 23rd September. This is a period of just under three months, but there is one special visitor this year. That visitor is Ceres, queen of nurturing, who makes her first visit to your romantic sector in four years, from the 28th June to the 6th September. The only other planets that will visit this year are the Sun, Mercury and Venus, but they will all arrive during Ceres’ watch and all starting with a deeper sense of what you want from love from the get go. It is when Venus, the planet of love meets up with her sister planet Ceres that the real magic will happen, from the 10th July to the 7th August. Yet while romantic matters won’t dominate the whole year, there is a distinct pocket that you’re able to focus on. Relationship matters are a very different story, with lucky Jupiter in your relationship sector until the 9th November. Having only just returned in October 2016, moving into the New Year this is something you are still adjusting to at the start of the year. In Jupiter’s early weeks the Sun, Venus and Mercury all moved through, all doing their part to send you off on this new journey with a clear sense of what you want from your relationships and what they need from you. However, you start the year with both Mars and Jupiter in your relationship sector, making sure you not only have luck on your side from the get go, but your passions and fighting spirit fuelled. Mars returned in early December 2016 and won’t leave until the 27th January, giving you a solid start to the year. Whether single, in a relationship or between relationships, both Jupiter and Mars will be determined to see you end the year in the kind of relationship you want. This really is a journey, with Jupiter in retrograde motion from the 9th March to the 11th July. This will be an important review phase. For it will be once Venus returns on the 9th Septemberthat support will arrive to help bring things home, something that will continue long after Jupiter leaves and right through to January 2019.

Money

When Saturn left your financial sector on the 20th December 2017, he brought a three year financial boot camp to a close. Whatever challenges you went through between December 2014 and December 2017, whatever you had to face, take ownership of or deal with, has given you the kind of financial savvy that you will benefit from for decades. While Saturn doesn’t create challenges where there are none, he doesn’t let you avoid anything either. Saturn is all about learning and growth and as he was here for three years, if you didn’t learn from one financial lesson, he would wait patiently for the next one to come along, only to be hammered again. This makes the most defining factor of this financial year the fact that Saturn is gone. The toughest financial years in a 30 year period are behind you and he won’t be back for another 28 years. In the meantime, there are still some loose ends to tie up. The Sun left two days behind Saturn and Venus three days later, leaving behind Mercury and his smart head for money to tie up loose ends, before he too leaves on the 11th January. However, this does not bring money matters to a close and instead, Mars’ return on the 27th January is a chance to benefit from everything you’ve learned over the last three years. Mars will move through from the 27th January to the 18th March and on his own, will fire up your financial passions and fighting spirit and fight to gain all the advantages you have worked for over the last three years. These are the most powerful weeks of 2018 for taking your financial power back. Yet it is the closing months of the year that something special will happen. For on the 9th November, just 13 days before the Sun’s return on the 22nd November, Jupiter will return to kick off your luckiest financial year in over a decade and a year full of potential for financial growth. Almost 11 months after Saturn’s three year financial boot camp ended, your luckiest year for money matters in over a decade begins. You’ve put in the hard work in order to be ready to receive the gains. This makes the early and later months of the year the most important for money matters. There are no major developments on the income front this year so therefore no major demands. However, there is a lucrative period that runs from the 25th April the 13th June that can be exploited. While this is only an annual update, for the first time in four years there are no planets in your financial sector at the time, so therefore no oppositions, no competition and no financial tension. With a clear path these have the potential to be the most lucrative weeks of 2018.

Business

With the South Node in your career sector from May 2017 until the 7th November 2018, there are a few things this guarantees. The first is that there will be continual momentum and a gravitational pull in the right direction. As well as giving you a clear sense of professional direction, this also gives you access to untapped professional potential. As the lunar nodes are the force behind all eclipses, this means you will have two eclipses on the career front this year, with both creating the potential for unexpected and fateful developments. The final thing this guarantees is that while the South Node is constantly drawing things in the right direction and is constantly giving you access to untapped professional potential when there are planets in your career sector they will act as triggers. As you move into 2018 there has been no planetary activity in your career sector since the South Node returned last May, so there is a powder keg of untapped potential just waiting for the right trigger. And you won’t have to wait for long, with Venus’ return on the 18th January triggering a short, sharp period of planetary activity that will jump start your professional year. Venus is only here from the 18th January to the 11th February, but she will do her best to fuel your professional confidence, attract opportunities and steer things in a lucrative direction. This will be backed up by the Sun’s return from the 20th January to the 19th February and Mercury’s return from the 1st February to the 18th February. From Venus’ return on the 18th January to the Sun’s departure on the 19th February is a period of just 32 days, almost the shortest annual update possible. However, a solar eclipse on the 16th February will turn this short, sharp jumpstart of this new professional year into the potential for some major new beginnings and some serious momentum. This should be the point where the South Node is on its own until leaving, except Mars has other ideas. Mars will move through your career sector from the 16th May to the 13th August and again from the 11th September to the 16th November. With the South Node here until the 7th November, they will spend a lot of time together. Mars will also be here when a total lunar eclipse on the 28th July could be a major catalyst. In the meantime, work and job matters, which had dominated over the last two years, take a backseat. Mars only left in December 2017, so there is plenty of momentum to carry things until Venus reaches your work sector on the 7th August. Unlike their rush through your career sector in the early part of the year, things will take longer to play out on the work front. From Venus’ return on the 7th August to Ceres’ departure on the 12th November, you have just over three months. Remembering all the while that Mars will be active on the career front for much of that time.

 About Taurus

Taurus is good at good living. This luxury loving sign enjoys wine, relationships and parties, and is a superb host. Taureans enjoy comfortable homes, sumptuous feasts and well stocked cellars. Known to be immensely stubborn, Taurus is also a loyal friend and partner. Security, both financial and emotional, is very important to Taureans. Placid Ruled by the planet Venus, Taurus would rather make love than war, and prefers a good meal to a good argument. They are quite materialistic, but delight in sharing.

The trouble is that Taurus tends to be more gourmand than gourmet, and doesn’t know where to stop. Sooner or later all that good living is going to have to be worked off with some serious exercise. Make sure you watch the calories because things get downright ugly when all that good living goes to the Taurean waistline.

2018 Overview

Gemini Horoscope The main thrust of any year is going to follow where Jupiter and Saturn lead, for they are the main driving forces in any given year. This year there is nothing but good news on both fronts, both because of what is and isn’t in play. Jupiter returned to your work sector in October 2017, so is still in the early months of a 13 month period of job growth and opportunity by the time you move into the New Year. Fortunately, you also start the year with Mars in your career sector, with the planets of luck and passion spending the first 10 days of the year aligned. Mars will leave on the 27th January, but with more than enough support from Neptune in your career sector, this will be enough to get this professional year up to speed. It is later in the year, from the 9th September onwards that the faster planets will return to help make Jupiter’s final months in your work sector count and to support with exploiting all the potential after he’s gone. In the meantime, Saturn’s return to your financial sector in the closing days of 2017, has kicked off your most powerful financial years ever. Saturn himself returns every 27 to 28 years, but with Pluto here as well this ushers in three of the most powerful financial years ever. It is Pluto’s ability to create change and Saturn’s power to move mountains if you have to that allow you to take your power back, something neither of their own could do. Together for the next three years, this is the start of a financial journey that will take until 2020 to complete. While this is destined to be a busy but successful year on the job front and a powerful financial year, this will also be a surprisingly good year for travel and all things adventurous or learning focused. Surprising because you won’t really see this coming. It begins with Venus’ return to your sector of adventure, travel, learning and discovery on the 18th January, triggering something that has been building behind the scenes since as far back as last May. Whether you’ve had a secret bucket list or something has been tugging at your imagination, this will come to life in a dramatic way this year. That will be especially so when Mars moves through not once but twice, first from the 16th May to the 13th Augustand then from the 11th September to the 16th November. When you add in a solar eclipse in this adventurous part of your chart on the 16th February and a total lunar eclipse on the 28th July, this really will take you by surprise. This could be this year’s dark horse, holding its own in a big year on the work, career and financial fronts.

Love

The last few years haven’t seen a lot of change, in that one year more or less progressed into the next year, especially on the relationship front and to a degree on the romantic front as well. With Saturn in your relationship sector from December 2014 to December 2017, a three year relationship boot camp literally only ended days before you moved into 2018. That Saturn hasn’t followed you into 2018 sets this year apart from the last three years, putting the challenges of the past behind you, while you get to enjoy the benefits. Saturn may have moved on, but you start the year with Mercury, the planet of communication still on board and with Mars not returning until the 27th January, the journey that began in December 2014, is still playing out. The difference is that without the hard taskmaster of the cosmos on board, this is more the rebuilding phase. Also not following you into 2018 are the romantic forces that have dominated the last two years. While Jupiter wrapped up his 13 month visit to your romantic sector in October 2017, things didn’t wrap up until Mars left in early December. Having left almost two months to the day after lucky Jupiter, Mars was the perfect planet to leave you with your romantic passions and fighting spirit fuelled. With Saturn gone from your relationship sector and Jupiter from your romantic sector, two major themes of recent years are over. Yet in the process this allows you to start the year with a huge amount of momentum and a clear sense of what you want from love and your relationships. This is one year where you can set some bold romantic and relationship resolutions and be very confident about your chances of making it happen. With Mars not leaving your relationship sector until 18th March, the rebuilding from the last three years will continue well into 2018. From that point on, apart from a Full Moon on the 30th May, the relationship gods will stay back until Mercury returns with this year’s relationship update, on the 31st October. This also means that when the most romantically charged months of this year run from the 7th August through to the 3rd December, they will have a chance to become established first. With the challenges of the past behind you, this should be a good year for both romantic and relationship matters, with just enough support to keep the wheels turning.

Money

As far as the money gods are concerned this is a mix of the expected and the unexpected, with the year not revealing all its secrets or potential until later in the year. First impressions make it obvious that this is a huge year for money matters, even more so than in most years. You have the distinction of being the sign that will always start and end each year with the Sun in your financial sector and therefore with the solar spotlight always on your financial situation and money matters from the get go. That is because the Sun moves through from the 22nd December to the 20th January each year and this year is no exception. Since 2008 you have also had Pluto, planet of change and revolution in your financial sector, on a mission to promote financial growth, change and evolution until leaving in 2024. However, for the first time in 27 years, you also move into the New Year with Saturn in your financial sector, where he will stay until 2020. This is the first and only time that you will have Saturn and Pluto in your financial sector in our lifetime and brings you to not just the start of your most powerful financial year ever, but the first of the three most powerful years. With lucky Jupiter joining them at the end of next year, 2020 will be the most powerful. Pluto has been calling for change and evolution since 2008, but Saturn brings the structure, steely sense of resolve and determination to take your power back and make it happen. This brings you to the start of a three year financial boot camp, but with Pluto here you’re not going to get bogged down and you’re not going to spend months dealing with issues. This is the right mix of Pluto’s impatience and Saturn’s patience. There will be a lot of support as the Sun, Mercury and Venus move through in January, but the real support will come when Mars returns to your financial sector on the 18th March. Mars will leave on the 16th May but will retrograde back in for a double dip visit from the 13th August to the 11th September. To have Mars, Saturn and Pluto together in your financial sector is something you’ve never experienced before and to have this extend for so long will allow Mars, warrior planet of the cosmos to really drive things. With the Sun, Mercury and Venus all passing through your income sector from the 20th May to the 23rd July, this fits neatly into the break that Mars will take from your financial sector from the 16th May to the 13th August. However, having Saturn and Pluto on the other side of the sky will keep income forces on their toes. This is when the element of the unexpected comes into play that I alluded to at the start. The Sun’s departure from your income sector on the 23rd July brings all planetary activity on the income front for the year to a close, but the North Node’s return on the 7th November opens the door to an especially fateful and lucrative period that will run through to May 2020.

Business

In terms of what kind of professional year to expect they don’t come much bigger than this. Not only do you have lucky Jupiter in your work sector until the 9th November but Neptune, in your career sector since 2012 is having his best year yet. This is partly because of the support from Jupiter on the job front and partly because Chiron will be gone for much of the year and you will no longer be hindered by old baggage. Jupiter only returned to your work sector in October 2017, so is still in his early months when you move into the New Year. Jupiter will always have a lot of support in the early and later part of his journey and at the start of the year that early support is still playing out. By the time you move into the New Year the Sun, Mercury and Venus have already been and gone but Mars, who only returned in December, is here until the 27th January. This is giving work and job matters a serious push in the first four weeks of the year, after which it will become more about the journey. However, the timing couldn’t be better, for with Venus returning to your career sector on the 11th February, this gives you just a few weeks for work and job matters to settle, before new career developments start opening up. Jupiter will spend from the 9th March to the 11th July in retrograde motion, making this a period of going back over old ground. From Venus’ return to your career sector from the 11th February to the Sun’s departure on the 28th April, you will have all the resources needed to exploit all the potential on the career front and to gain a clear sense of professional direction. With Chiron leaving your career sector from the 17th April to the 26th September, this clears the way for Jupiter and Neptune to work together. Jupiter, planet of luck and expansion is working to create job growth, while Neptune is focused on your professional dreams, together making a remarkable team. It’s not until Venus returns to your work sector on the 9th September, two months to the day before Jupiter is due to leave that the push will begin to bring things home. That push will be extensive, with both Venus and Mercury making not one but two visits. Venus will move through your work sector from the 9th September to the 1st November and Mercury from the 10th October to the 31st October. With Jupiter leaving on the 9th November, right in the middle of the Sun’s visit, from the 24th October to the 22nd November, Venus and Mercury will be on hand to make those final weeks count. However, Mercury will return for a double dip visit from the 2nd December to the 13th December and Venus from the 3rd December to the 8th January 2019, both after Jupiter has moved on. Not only will they help to bring Jupiter’s 13 month visit home, but will return after he’s gone in order to exploit as much untapped job potential as possible.

 About Gemini

Geminis are good at communicating. Born multi-taskers, they can keep many balls in the air at once, holding down two jobs, even dating two people. Ruled by Mercury, Gemini’s great strength is adaptability, the chameleon talent of being able to fit in anywhere. Gemini’s other gift is youthfulness. Always interested in anything new, Geminis are able to keep up with the trends and stay young. When Gemini is functioning full throttle, no one is better at making even complex tasks seem easy.

The trouble is that Geminis can get carried away with their own wit and talk more than they work. Less time spend gossiping round the water cooler, and more time actually at the desk, will see you shooting ahead in your career. Things just get ugly when you get caught up in trivia and overlook the important things.

2018 Overview

Cancer Horoscope Let’s face it, as the years roll on one year tends to roll into the other without too much actually changing. If that has been your reality then let me introduce you to 2018, a year where everything changes. For you, the biggest change is the transformation in the focus of your life, with a lot of the challenges of the past starting to make sense. Chances are, the last 18 months in particular, from mid 2016 to late 2017, had a familiar theme or challenge. That challenge was not so much work/life balance pressure, but the pressure of having to balance it all. It’s as though life just wouldn’t let you off the hook, continuing to press home a need for balance. As is often the case, it is only after the fact that we get to look back and see the reason why. In 2018 you get to enjoy the rewards, with life naturally becoming more balanced. Recent years have been dominated by income, work and career forces. Whether in the workforce or not, life has been busy and demanding, with a push to succeed, but at the same time you’ve had to balance home and family issues or commitments. Life was pushing for balance, but it was balancing life’s different challenges. What you didn’t realize was happening was just how proficient in juggling you’ve become. Balance is still an issue in 2018, but you’re balancing the good stuff. The demands on your professional life or whatever the driving demands in your life are scaled back this year, while still leaving you with plenty of momentum. In fact, there is every reason to trust that this will be a successful professional year, one that is less busy but more rewarding, especially on the income front. However, this is a year when love, matters of the heart and all things fun, playful, romantic and creative become more pronounced. This, in turn, is supporting an opportunity to travel, study or just to embrace a sense of wanderlust, curiosity and adventure. This is also a massively important year for relationship building, from personal and intimate relationships through to your professional relationships. As Saturn and Pluto meet up in your relationship sector for the first time in our lifetime, this will have an impact on all your relationships. Whether single, in a relationship or between relationships at the start of the year, there is a chance either to make new committed relationships or become more committed to those that you’re in.

Love

There is just one word to describe what is happening on the romantic and relationship fronts this year and that word is ‘massive’. So much so that this is a game changing year on both fronts. With Jupiter in your romantic sector until the 9th November, this is your luckiest year for love, matters of the heart and all things romantic in over a decade, with a stunning amount of support along the way. Yet while you have reached your luckiest year for love in over a decade, to even call this your biggest and most important relationship year in decades is an understatement. For what you have moved into and are still getting a feel for at the start of the year, is the most important relationship developments ever. It was just before Christmas 2016 that Saturn returned to your relationship sector for the first time in three decades, kicking off a year visit that will run through to December 2020. This has kicked off a three year relationship boot camp that is also a period of enormous relationship growth, change and evolution. For when Saturn returned in the closing days of 2017, he teamed up with Pluto, the planet of change and revolution for the first and only time in our lifetime. Pluto is here from 2008 to 2024, so this is something you’ve been preparing for, for years and it means that they will remain together for the whole three year period. With Jupiter returning to your relationship sector later next year, you’re heading into the most defining three years on the relationship front in your lifetime. With lucky Jupiter in your romantic sector until the 9th November, but planetary activity keeping things active through to January 2019, the whole of 2018 is dominated by larger than life romantic and relationship forces. You start the year with Mars in your romantic sector until the 27th January, while you also start the year with Saturn accompanied by the Sun and Venus, in his early weeks. Saturn should be left on his own by the time the Sun, Mercury and Venus finish moving through your relationship sector, which they will be by the 1st February, but Mars has other ideas. Having escorted Jupiter into the year on the romantic front, Mars will spend an extraordinary amount of time in your relationship sector this year. Normally moving through in six weeks, Mars will move through from the 18th May to the 16th May and will then return for a double dip visit from the 13th August to the 11th September. Venus will do the same on the romantic front, moving through from the 9th September to the 1st November and then returning for a double dip visit from the 3rd December to the 8th January 2019. Extraordinary support for an extraordinary year on both the romantic and relationship fronts.

Money

The North Node’s return to your income sector and the South Node’s to your financial sector in May 2017 and their position there until the 7th November this year, has big implications on your financial year. There was a taste of this with a pair of eclipses last August, but until the lunar nodes leave, the eclipses will continue and with it fateful and unexpected developments. For the rest of the year, the lunar nodes act as giant magnets, though with a very different influence. The South Node is connected to the past, but also on helping you to break free from old habits and patterns. In your financial sector until the 7th November is the process that will continue behind the scenes. Though when there is planetary activity on the financial front, then this expands to include the potential to access untapped financial potential. The North Node, on the other hand, is connected with the future and works through the element of luck and fate. In your income sector until the 7th November, this creates the potential for a lucrative year, with steady income growth. When there is planetary activity here and especially during an eclipse, this increases the potential for income breakthroughs. You have had Ceres in your income sector since September 2017 and while she will leave on the 28th June, with Venus returning on the 14th June and then continuous planetary activity through to September 6th, there is almost continuous support on the income front. That is not the norm where the North Node is concerned. This makes the whole of 2018 a lucrative zone, but there are some especially lucrative periods. They will be around the time of a total lunar eclipse in your income sector on the 1st February, a solar eclipse on the 11th August and while Venus moves through from the 14th June to the 10th July. These are the hot spots, but a warm field of potential runs from the 14th June to the 6th September. While the North Node will leave on the 7th November, with another total lunar eclipse in January 2019, the year will end with more untapped income potential. By the time you move into the New Year, all the planetary activity has been on the income front and the South Node has been on its own on the financial front, so you haven’t yet seen the full potential here. That will change with Venus’ return to your financial sector on the 18th January, the Sun’s on the 20th January and Mercury’s on the 1st February. With a solar eclipse on the 16th February, this could trigger some unexpected financial gains or developments, with a lot of untapped financial potential by then. That planetary push will run its course with the Sun’s departure on the 19th February, but money matters will get another push when Mars moves through, not once but twice. Mars will move through from the 16th May to the 13th August and again from the 11th September to the 16th November. It is during Mars’ first visit that a total lunar eclipse on the 28th July could really spur the warrior planet of the cosmos into action.

Business

After three extremely busy years the focus dials back on both the job and career fronts this year, but to a point where there is still plenty of momentum, but a much easier pace. It was only on the 20th December 2017 that Saturn left your work sector, wrapping up a three year visit that was as hard as it needed to be, but as easy as a Saturn transit can be. Saturn is the hard taskmaster of the cosmos and he would have kept you busy. However, an alignment with Uranus in your career sector for much of that time and especially in the final year, also ensured that there was the potential for professional growth. With Saturn gone that relentless drive and need to have your work hat on 24/7 is gone, but not the potential this created. You will need to have your work hat on from the get go this year, but considering the brutal pace of the last three years, you can literally crawl into the new professional year if you wanted to. Mercury is on his own in your work sector, but having just turned direct in late December he’s moving at a crawl. At the same time, with Uranus in retrograde motion in your career sector until turning direct on the 3rd January, he’s not even at a crawl, but at a complete standstill. Make the most of this quiet start to the year, for it won’t last. Mercury will leave your work sector on the 11th January and for the first time in over three years, there will be no planets there. However, that is just temporary, with Mars returning from the 27th January to the 18th March. Mars is a planet that makes things happen and gets things done and with Saturn having just wrapped up a three year visit, he will be working to exploit every possible advantage. It is after Mars leaves that work and job matters will operate on momentum alone, until some major developments later in the year. It is while Mars is still in your work sector that things will start moving on the career front and they will take over from where he leaves off. There is not a lot of planetary activity on the career front this year, but definitely enough to create all the momentum you need. It starts with Mercury’s return on the 6th March and will end with his departure on the 14th May. However, a lot will happen during his extended visit. It is during that time that the Sun and Venus will move through and Mercury himself will spend time in retrograde motion. On the 16th May, just two days after Mercury leaves Uranus and here since 2010, he will also leave. Uranus will return on the 7th November and the timing couldn’t be better, but it leaves you with a chance to step right back into the middle months of the year, in order to let things play out. Then, in early November everything will change. Not only will Uranus retrograde back in for a final few months in your career sector, before leaving for good next March, but on the 9th November, just two days later, Jupiter will return to your work sector. This will kick off your luckiest and most expansive year for job growth in over a decade. This is when you’ll look back and see Saturn’s three year visit as the training ground that it was.

 About Cancer

Cancerians are good at nurturing. Ruled by the Moon, they make great parents, and can be selfless when it comes to making sacrifices for their families. Cancerians are also shrewd judges of character, and give useful advice. They are quick to offer a sympathetic ear and a shoulder to cry on, followed by a warm hug. A kind, caring Cancerian is a blessing in times of crisis. Cancerians love food, and spoiling the people they love. Family comes first with Cancerians, but even when they have little or no family of their own, they will create a family atmosphere with their friends.

The trouble is that they tend to get addicted to the role of nurturer, and find it hard to let go when loved ones need to stand on their own feet. Make sure you know when to step back as well as forward, because things get really ugly when your mother love turns to smother love.

2018 Overview

Leo Horoscope As much as this is a year with a lot happening and across a wide cross section of life, the one over riding theme for you, is that you have the North Node in Leo until the 7th November. This means a number of things. The first is that you have a personal GPS or compass that is always pointing true north, with an innate sense of personal direction and personal truth. This is locked into a sense of fate and luck, that is not just leading you in an authentic direction, but towards opportunities, you can’t see until you stumble across them. It also means that a series of eclipses will bring you to fateful intersections during the year, crossroads that can take life in a different direction. As you reach those crossroads, that internal compass or GPS will tell you which path to take. The first of those crossroads will be reached with a total lunar eclipse in Leo on the 1st February. The second is a solar eclipse in Leo on the 11th August, a year after last year’s total solar eclipse and with the potential link between the two. While the North Node will leave Leo on the 7th November, there will be one final total lunar eclipse in January 2019, just to round things off and to tie up loose ends. In the meantime, having Jupiter in your home and family sector until the 9th November, but continued planetary activity through to January 2019, also makes this an important year for home, family and/or property matters. This will make work/life balance, not so much an issue or a challenge, but something that you need to be aware of. For 2018 is also your most important and game changing professional year ever. The last three years have seen Saturn and Uranus working closely together and this has created playful and adventurous influences that have been just what you’ve needed. However, both are giants of and with Jupiter, are two of the most influential planets in the solar system, are getting down to business, not just this year but for years to come. It began with Saturn’s return to your work sector in the closing days of 2017, with his three year visit running from December 2017 to December 2020. This is going to be the busiest and most demanding three years out of any three decade long Saturn cycle, this time around there is the potential for real change and growth. That is because, for the first time in our lifetime, Saturn has teamed up with Pluto. What will take this to a whole new level is Uranus’ return to your career sector on the 16th May. Apart from a short break from the 7th November to the 6th March 2019, Uranus is here until 2026. With Saturn in your work sector until December 2020 and Pluto until 2024, you’re moving into not just your most powerful year ever on the job and career fronts, but years in your lifetime.

Love

When Saturn left your romantic sector in the closing days of December 2017, he wrapped up a three year visit that had been through many seasons. Saturn is the hard taskmaster of the cosmos and since returning in December 2014, has taken you through the School of Hard Knocks, but in the process has left you with a clear sense of what you want from love and of where you need to take responsibility. Saturn’s final year and final months, in particular, were the best, with support flooding in to turn the lessons of the past three years into a new sense of resolve. Saturn won’t follow you into 2018, but his legacy will and so too will his entourage. The Sun left two days after Saturn and Venus, the planet of love left on Christmas Day. However, Mercury, who spent the final weeks of 2017 in retrograde motion, will stay on until the 11th January. It is then that you will experience something not experienced in over three years and that is no planetary activity on the romantic front. This is only for a few days, with Mars returning from the 27th January to the 18th March to exploit as much untapped romantic potential as possible. One anomaly this year and an encouraging sign is that Venus, the planet of love won’t visit your romantic sector in 2018. Having left on Christmas Day 2017, Venus won’t return until early January 2019. Had you needed her Venus would be here. Instead, Mars will continue to keep romantic matters fuelled until the 18th March, with the love gods leaving you on your own until Mercury returns on the 31st October. Though to make up for Venus’ no show, Mercury once again turns retrograde here, spending more than his usual 15 days. Moving through from the 31st October to the 2nd December and then returning for a double dip visit from the 13th December to 5th January 2019, he’ll keep the seat warm until Venus returns just days later. Meanwhile, relationship forces remain in play for the majority of the year. With the South Node in your relationship sector until the 7th November, a series of fateful eclipses is yet to run its course. A solar eclipse on the 16th February and a total lunar eclipse on the 28th July, will both bring the element of fate into play. There is also a lot of planetary activity on the relationship front this year. This is especially so in the first two months of the year, with the Sun, Venus and Mercury all investing everything they can into your relationships. Yet the real support will come from Mars, who will spend an extraordinary amount of time working with your relationships. Mars will move through from the 16th May to the 13th August, only to return from the 11th September to the 16th November. This is much longer than the six weeks he will normally spend fighting for your relationships.

Money

While the main focus is on your financial situation and money matters as a whole this year, the planetary activity that you do have on the income front is all favourable and is likely to punch well above its weight. And for a similar reason for why this is destined to be such a good year for money matters as a whole, which is outside support. Chiron, the gatekeeper to old financial demons, has been in your financial sector since 2010 and Neptune, the planet of dreams and fantasies since 2012. These are an unlikely pair, as Neptune is all about financial dreams and Chiron deals with the realities of old financial demons. This year two things happen that change everything. The first is the support that both planets are getting from lucky Jupiter this year, support that will remain strong right through to early November. The second thing that happens is that Chiron will leave your financial sector on the 17th April, taking him out of the game. This will leave Neptune on his own for the first time since he arrived, with a chance to get serious about your financial dreams. The more active point of the year for money matters is when the Sun, Mercury and Venus move through. This year this will begin with Venus’ return on the 11th February and will run through to the Sun’s departure on the 21st March. This isn’t a very long period and with Mercury in here from the 18th February to the 6th March, this is a chance to get in, take care of any financial housekeeping and move on. The biggest impact from Chiron’s departure from your financial sector is more likely to be felt on the income front. The most lucrative months of the year are when there is planetary activity in your income sector, which there will be from Ceres’ return on the 28th June to the Sun’s departure on the 23rd September. This is a period of nearly three months, almost twice as long as the planetary activity on the financial front earlier in the year. That is because Ceres is making her first visit in four years and the timing couldn’t be better. Chiron will return to your financial sector on the 26th September, before finally leaving for good next February. The window that Chiron won’t be in your financial sector and therefore won’t put pressure on the planets in your income sector runs from the 17th April to the 26th September. And the most lucrative months of the year on the income front run from the 28th June to the 23rd September, ending just three days before Chiron returns. I said at the start that the planetary activity on the income front would punch above its weight and that is because of the huge developments on the job front this year. It is right during the time that the planetary activity is playing out on the income front that Mars will be helping to create some stunning conditions on the job front.

Business

As far as professional years go, they don’t come much bigger than this or as game changing. Nothing you have experienced in the past can prepare you for what this year holds or what this year will open the door to, for quite frankly there has never been a year like this before. The planets operate in cycles. From the Sun, Venus and Mercury’s return to the same area of your chart once a year, to Mars’ once every two years, Jupiter’s every 12 years and Saturn’s every 30 years, these are the predictable cycles that we can expect. What is happening on both the work and career fronts this year doesn’t fit into those cycles, for on both fronts you have developments this year that are in the once in a lifetime category. Yet this is set to become your new normal, for many years to come. To start with all new developments are on the job front and this is still very new. You have had Pluto, the planet of change and revolution in your work sector since 2008, so he has become part of the wallpaper, with an ongoing need for change, growth and evolution. Everything changed on the 20th December 2017, just two days before the Sun also returned, with Saturn returning for his first visit in three decades. You have had Saturn in your work sector before and he will return in another three decades, but you have never and will never have Saturn and Pluto together here at the same time and that changes everything. Pluto has been working towards change, growth and evolution for nearly a decade now, while Saturn returns to give you the power to move mountains if you have to. Together anything is possible and they will work together for the next three years. With Jupiter returning later next year, this expansive three year period will only get better over the years. Starting the year with the Sun, Venus, Saturn and Pluto in your work sector means you have support for this powerful new year on the job front. While Mercury will return from the 11th January to the 1st February, Saturn and Pluto will be on their own once he leaves. Yet Mars will also move through from the 18th March to the 16th May and then again from the 13th August to the 11th September, ensuring there is plenty of support throughout the year. With such a massive year for job growth and change, you would expect that this would bode well for the planetary activity on the career front this year. With no major planetary activity on the career front for many years now, it is expected that this would be more back up for work and job matters and a short chance to get career matters up to speed. But as I said, there is game changing and once in a lifetime developments on the career front as well. The most active weeks on the career front run from Venus’ return to your career sector on the 31st March to Mercury’s departure on the 30th May, a period that is unremarkable and the normal that you would expect in any year. However, everything changes with Uranus’ return to your career sector on the 16th May, while the Sun and Mercury are still here. Apart from a short break from the 7th November to the 6th March 2019, Uranus is here until 2027. This is long after Saturn leaves your work sector in December 2020 and even after Pluto leaves in 2024. With Uranus making his first visit since 1942, just as there are once in a lifetime developments on the job front it is going to change the whole dynamics of your professional game.

Leos are good at being warm hearted, generous and kind. Ruled by the Sun, they love to shine and are great extroverts. Leos enjoy company and love to spoil everyone and share their own good fortune. Their pride and dignity makes them the kind of person others naturally look up to, and are always first to offer advice and counsel. Like the King of Beasts that is their zodiac symbol, Leos like to be the boss, and expect everyone to defer to them.

The trouble is, Leo pride refuses to admit that it is ever wrong about anything. When that advice is offered, Leos expect it to be followed to the letter. Make sure you really have the other person’s best interests at heart, and don’t just want to dominate them. Things can get downright ugly when Leo pride ignores someone else’s right to a mind of their own.

2018 Overview

Virgo Horoscope From the get go it is clear that 2018 is not a repeat of 2017 or any other year for that matter. It is not one single event, but where in total the major forces in play this year are taking you. There is a definite shift towards your personal life and towards an easy and more playful life chapter. One of the biggest impacts on this year is not what is happening, but what you won’t find. For the last three years, you have moved into the year with Saturn in your home and family sector, but his departure on the 20th December 2017 means he won’t follow you into the New Year and won’t return for another three decades. Saturn is the hard taskmaster of the cosmos and even if you didn’t have challenges on the home, family and/or property fronts, this put Saturn at a tough aspect to your Sun. This created a sense of being under pressure even if you couldn’t put your finger on where it was coming from. This also made things look and feel harder. What I mean by that, is that in 2018 you might have the same demands on the home and family fronts, you might deal with the same challenges and have the same responsibilities, but they will feel easier and lighter. Without Saturn there things will not just seem easier, you will also enjoy the benefits of the last three years. That in itself would change the dynamics of this year, but Saturn has joined Pluto in a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart and will stay here for the next three years. This is the first time in our lifetime that they have met up here and with Pluto’s call for change and Saturn’s determination, life is set to become a lot more playful, fun, romantic and creative. You will still need to take responsibility, but you will be a willing volunteer. This shift in focus is also being mirrored on the relationship front. Lucky Jupiter will spend the majority of the year in your communication sector and even after leaving on the 9th November, the communication gods will remain on the job. This is good news for your relationships, with Jupiter enjoying an ongoing partnership with dreamy Neptune in your relationship sector. This comes in a year when a lot of the old relationship ghosts and demons of the past are going to naturally start falling away. Collectively this is creating an extremely important year for both matters of the heart and your relationships. Life will lighten up even more from May onwards, with a chance for travel, higher learning or just embracing life more.

Love

On both the romantic and relationship fronts this is literally the year that you have been waiting for, for years and have unbeknownst to you, been working towards. Pluto, the planet of change and revolution has been in your romantic sector since 2008, working behind the scenes and at different points of the year, grabbing all the planetary support they can get. At the same time, Chiron has been in your relationship sector since 2010 and Neptune since 2012, with the planets of healing and dreams having suffered some real challenges at times, especially in 2015/2016. Yet on both fronts, there is a dramatic turnaround this year, in one case because of both direct and indirect support and the other all because of direct support. The support for your relationships began when Jupiter returned to your communication sector in October 2017 and as he is here until the 9th November and there are other communication gods on the field until early 2019, your relationships will remain supported all year. Without the challenges of a few years back, this will allow your relationships to thrive. At the same time, with Chiron gone from your relationship sector from the 17th April to the 26th September, before finally leaving for good next year, this will take away a lot of the healing process that has kept you linked to the past. A planetary push on the relationship front from the 11th February to the 28th April will be met with nothing but support and should be some of the best relationship months of the year. In the meantime, something even bigger is developing on the romantic front, with potentially game changing implications. You have had Pluto, the planet of change and revolution in your romantic sector since 2008 and not due to leave until 2024, a need for growth, change and evolution has been ongoing. However, it was just before Christmas 2017 that Saturn returned to your romantic sector for the first time in three decades, teaming up with Pluto for the next three years. With lucky Jupiter joining them later next year, this is the start of the most powerful and game changing romantic years in your lifetime. It is no wonder then that Mars is spending so much time fuelling your romantic passions and fighting spirit this year. The Sun, Venus and Mercury will all spend time in your romantic sector in January, as is the case each year. However, with Venus leaving on the 18th January, the Sun on the 20th January and Mercury on the 1st February, this is a short send off. The real magic will begin when Mars returns on the 18th March and while he’ll leave on the 16th May, he’ll return for a double dip visit from the 13th April to the 11th September. This is just the first of the three years of major romantic growth.

Money

The most important factor in this financial year is what isn’t here. The last two years have been dominated by the conflict between Uranus in your financial sector and Jupiter in your income sector. From December 2016 to September 2017, they had moved into opposition three times and with Eris in your financial sector as well, financial tension and conflict between income and financial forces had become the norm. Or at least it had been since Jupiter returned to your income sector in September 2016 and only really ran its course when Mars left in December 2017. The fact that you start the year with no planetary activity on the income front is good news for both income and money matters. With Uranus turning direct in your financial sector on the 3rd January, this will allow for a trouble free financial turnaround, with a chance for a fresh start to this financial year. While this will leave you with no planets in play on the income front, as 16 months of activity only ran its course in December, there is more than enough momentum. In addition, income matters will get their turn in the second half of the year. However, a Full Moon in your income sector on the 1st April, the first since lucky Jupiter left, could trigger some unexpected income developments. The early months of the year belong to money matters and with Uranus leaving on the 16th May, this is a chance to bring together everything he has been working towards since he returned in 2010. Mercury, who normally moves through your financial sector in 15 days, is here from the 6th March to the 14th May, thanks to a retrograde phase from the 23rd March to the 15th April. With Uranus leaving two days after Mercury, you will have his smart head for money to work with during his final months. Uranus will be back from the 7th November 2018 to the 6th March, but only to tie up loose ends. More importantly, Uranus will be gone from your financial sector from the 16th May to the 7th November. With the most lucrative months of the year on the income front running from the 7th August to the 3rd December, much of that will be spent without Uranus in opposition, something that last happened in 2009. What is important about this time is that Venus, the planet of money will make two visits to your income sector this year. The 24 to 25 days that Venus spends in your income sector each year are always the most potentially lucrative. This year Venus will move through from the 7th August to the 9th September, only to return for a double dip visit from the 1st November to the 3rd December. Venus is the only planet still in your income sector when Uranus returns to your financial sector, with their opposition more likely to keep both sides on their toes.

Business

On paper, job and career matters look evenly balanced this year and with no major planetary activity, a fairly typical year on both fronts. However, both sides have a secret weapon or two that allows them to punch above their weight. Apart from a Full Moon in your career sector in December 2017, there has been no planetary activity there or in either of your professional houses since the middle of last year. However, you have had the South Node in your work sector since last May and that is about to have critical implications in the early weeks of the New Year. While not a planet, the South Node is providing a constant sense of direction on the job front, a pull in the right direction and sets the scene for potentially game changing eclipses. It also means that when there is planetary activity there is a huge amount of untapped job potential for them to tap into. As there has been no planetary activity since the South Node returned last May, there is a huge amount of untapped potential, with Venus able to tap into this when she returns on the 18th January. This kicks off a very short 32 day period where the Sun, Mercury and Venus will all move through at the same time and with all that untapped income potential, trigger as much as possible. It is during this period, from Venus’ return on the 18th January to the Sun’s departure on the 18th February, that a solar eclipse on the 16th February will act as a catalyst for some major new beginnings and opportunities. This is the point when all planetary activity on the job front should run its course for the year and for three months that will be the case. However, Mars will move through from the 16th May to the 13th August and then again from the 11th September to the 16th November. It is during Mars’ first visit that you will not only have a total lunar eclipse on the job front on the 28th July, with the potential for major and unexpected job developments but developments on the career front as well. While it will only take 32 days for the Sun, Mercury and Venus to move through your work sector in the early part of the year, it will take them slightly longer to move through your career sector. It will begin with Venus’ return on the 25th April and end with the Sun’s departure on the 21st June, just under two months later. With Mars in your work sector from the 16th May to the 13th August, he will work with career forces and once they run their course, keep them moving forward as well. With the South Node leaving your work sector on the 7th November and Mars wrapping up his second visit on the 16th November, he’ll be here to bring things home and tie up loose ends after the fact. A Full Moon on the career front on the 23rd November will round this professional year off nicely.

 About Virgo

Virgos are good at organizing stuff. Ruled by Mercury, they are neat, tidy and thoughtful people who always remember how their individual friends take their coffee. They actually have organized workshops with a place for everything and everything in its place. They are good at things like gardening and healing, because they care about details and make sure that measurements are correct to the merest gram.

Analytical Virgos tend top pick everything to pieces, even their relationships, to see how they work. They tend to worry about things that other people don’t even notice. This leads to panic attacks and stomach pains that could turn into ulcers.

The trouble is that Virgos can become so hung up on details that they drive everyone crazy. Make sure you stop and just smell the roses now and then, because it just gets ugly when you turn into a nit picking pain.

2018 Overview

Libra Horoscope The most important factor for you about 2018, isn’t what is happening and more what isn’t. Even if you’re still facing the same challenges, life still brings the same demands and you’re dealing with the same problems, they will feel lighter and easier to manage. They should also start to ease off dramatically the further into the year you travel. For what you leave behind in 2017, is the pressure on both you and your relationships. Yet from this, you’re able to move into the New Year with a clearer sense of what you want from your relationships and what they need from you. What 2018 does is create an opportunity for a reboot, with life changing the record. This year there is a lot more focus on income, work and career matters, with the potential for this to become one of your most lucrative years in over a decade. To start with the focus is more on income and job matters, with anything over and above the normal annual quota of career developments not kicking in until early November. What makes this such a potentially lucrative year is that you have lucky Jupiter in your income sector until the 9th November. However, there will be planets staying on to exploit as much potential as possible, right through to January 2019. No matter where things stand at the start of the year, 2018 has more earnings potential than any other year in over a decade. This is being backed up by some favourable developments on the job front this year. With Neptune in your work sector since 2012 and not due to leave until 2026, Jupiter and income forces find a natural ally here. Yet it helps that conditions on the job front also improve this year, finding it a lot easier to move on from the things that have held you back in the past. Watch out for developments on the career front around the time of a solar eclipse in your career sector on the 13th July. This is a complete wildcard and could trigger unexpected developments across the income, work and career fronts. This is also a taste of things to come, ahead of the North Node’s return to your career sector on the 7th November. While this is a stunning year across the income, work and career fronts, this does present you with a problem that needs to be taken seriously from the get go. That problem is work/life balance, for 2018 is not just your most important year for home, family and/or property matters ever, but is the start of an important three year period. As Pluto and Saturn team up in your home and family sector, they will police a balance between your home and professional lives.

Love

There are some big shifts on the relationship front this year and all of them for the better. While it was good news for you personally to have Jupiter in Libra from September 2016 to October 2017, this puts a lot of pressure on your relationships. Mainly because this put a lot of pressure on Uranus, who is making his first visit to your relationship sector in eight decades. Yet Jupiter’s departure has taken the pressure off your relationships and while there were some sporadic outbursts in the final months of last year, they had become a lot scarcer. With no more planets in Libra, until Venus returns in early August, this creates relationship pressure for the first half of the year. But even then there won’t be a repeat of previous years, for with Uranus leaving your relationship sector on the 16th May and not returning until the 7th November and then only to tie up loose ends, this major relationship journey is coming to an end. Since returning in 2010, Uranus has been on a mission to create something real and authentic, even if that meant going to war against anything that wasn’t in your or your relationships best interest. There is a lot of support for Uranus and your relationships in his final months, starting with Mercury, the planet of communication’s return on the 6th March. This should be a 15 day visit aimed at giving your relationships a voice, but instead, Mercury will stay on until the 14th May. With Uranus leaving on the 16th May, Mercury will be around in his final two months to ensure the communication lines are open. A retrograde phase from the 23rd March to the 15th April will even provide an opportunity to give your relationships, the past and unsaid words a voice. With Venus moving through from the 7th March to the 31st March and the Sun from the 21st March to the 20th April, there will be a lot of support during those final months. However, there is a surprise visitor on the 17th April with Chiron, the planet of healing making his first visit to your relationship sector in five decades. Chiron is only here until the 26th September, but when he returns in February 2019, he’ll stay on until 2027. In the meantime, there is something special happening on the romantic front this year as well. A solar eclipse on the 18th February and a total solar eclipse on the 28th July is a result of having the element of fate in play all year. While January is an especially romantically charged month, Mars is doing something special this year. The warrior planet of the cosmos will move through from the 16th May to the 13th August, only to return for a double dip visit from the 11th September to the 16th November.

Money

In any given year there will be parts of the year where there is planetary activity on the income front and other parts of the year when there is planetary activity on the financial front. This is the normal pattern of a normal year, with the focus usually on income matters in October and November and the focus on money matters as a whole, in April and May. That is because that is when the Sun moves through your income and financial sectors and where the Sun goes, Venus and Mercury follow. However, every now and then we have a year where, while the normal patterns still apply, there is something bigger going on and 2018 is one of those years. To start with this is all about income matters, with lucky Jupiter in your income sector until the 9th November. This makes 2018 one of your most potentially lucrative income years in over a decade and with a lot of support from Neptune on the work front, this has the potential to be very lucrative. Things get off to an empowered start, with Mars also in your income sector until the 27th January. The Sun, Mercury and Venus all moved through late last year, supporting Jupiter in his early months. However, Mars is the planet that can really smash through glass ceilings and give us the confidence to fight for what we deserve. Apart from a Full Moon in your income sector on the 30th April, which could trigger unexpected income developments, Jupiter will largely work in the background. The real push will come when Venus returns to your income sector on the 9th December, exactly two months to the day before Jupiter is due to leave. With Mercury returning on the 10th October and the Sun on the 24th October, there will be plenty of support during Jupiter’s final months. Even after the fact things will continue, with Venus returning for a double dip visit from the 3rd December to the 8th January. This will squeeze out any remaining income potential, from this extraordinary year. While it won’t be immediately apparent, there are also some exciting developments on the financial front this year. To start with it is business as usual, with no focus on your financial situation and money matters as a whole until Venus returns to your financial sector on the 31st March. With Venus here until the 25th April, the Sun from the 20th April to the 21st May and Mercury from the 14th May to the 30th May, this is when your annual financial update will take place. This is still business as usual until Uranus returns on the 16th May. This is the first time Uranus or any of the outer planets have visited your financial sector since 1942 and apart from a short break from the 7th November to the 6th March 2019, he’s here until 2027. This is the start of a major new period of financial growth and a journey towards a more authentic approach to money matters.

Business

You have the best of both worlds on the professional front this year, with some real advantages on the work and career fronts but in both cases with little effort required in return. Neptune, who has been in your work sector since 2012, is having a stunning year without doing anything more than he has already been doing. Neptune, the planet of dreams and fantasies is charged with fuelling your dreams and daring you to imagine. However, it is more what is happening around Neptune this is set to make this such a good year for work and job matters and especially for following your dreams. The most obvious advantage is that you not only move into the New Year with lucky Jupiter in your income sector but until the 29th January, Mars as well. With Jupiter in your income sector until the 9th November, they will work in tandem all year as the planets of luck and dreams, creating the potential for a stunning year on both fronts. Another reason why work and job matters are likely to fly this year is that Chiron will be gone for much of the year. Chiron has been in your work sector since 2010 and as the wounded healer and gatekeeper to old professional demons, this has made it hard to move on. With Chiron gone from the 17th April to the 26th September and then leaving for good next February, this will clear the way for your dreams to fly. Those dreams will have plenty of support when the Sun, Mercury and Venus move through your work sector. This is a relatively short period, starting with Venus’ return on the 11th February and ending with the Sun’s departure on the 21st March. However, that is more than enough time to jumpstart things. Apart from a Full Moon in your career sector on the 2nd January, there is no planetary activity on the career front until Venus returns on the 20th May. This is much earlier in the year than things normally start to move, with the Sun not moving through until the 21st June to the 23rd July, as he does at that time every year. With Venus here until the 14th June and Mercury from the 13th June to the 29th June, they will each play their part and pass the baton onto the next planet. This is nothing out of the ordinary, but with Neptune in a good place on the work front and Jupiter in your income sector, the whole period from the 20th May to the 23rd July will be an auspicious period for income, work and career matters. This will end with just one sign that something fateful.
